Song of the Abyss
A short form yuri romance starring Cnidra, a deep sea jellyfish mermaid living in the back of a research-based aquarium. No matter how frequently resident scientists or caretakers ask, Cnidra reassures them of her decision to stay in the facility, satisfied with their arrangement despite living alone in an alien world.
It's only when a new intern unexpectedly hears the otherwise quiet Cnidra's Song that her silent, unchanging daily life is shaken. She begins to think about the great expanse outside of her tank and her role within it.
What results is a shared journey of development, as the visitor and Cnidra learn about each other's worlds - the good, the bad, and everything in between.
